Brayden was a wide receiver for Calera’s Eagles where he wore the No. 29 jersey.

In a tragic incident on Sunday, September 3, 15-year-old Brayden Ray lost his life in a devastating crash. As friends and family grapple with the immense grief, the community stands united in mourning the untimely loss.

According to Shelby County Coroner Lina Evans, the solo crash occurred on Highway 70 in close proximity to the Waterford subdivision.

According to authorities, it has been determined that Brayden’s vehicle veered off the roadway and collided with several trees. He was found alone inside the vehicle and was declared deceased at the scene.
