Bucky Kopf Education

After graduating from West Liberty State College in 1964, Herman “Bucky” R. Kopf began his entrepreneurial career by establishing Kopf Construction with a small starting capital. Through incredible leadership, he was able to turn Kopf Builders into one of the most renowned developers and home builders in the Greater Cleveland area.

Kopf currently holds the position of chairman of American National Bank, a Cleveland, Ohio-based small business bank.

The fact that he has served on the boards of trustees for organizations like Baldwin Wallace College, Lorain Community College, Community Health Partners Hospital, Lakeland Health Care, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Salvation Army demonstrates his dedication to having a positive impact on the community.

Bucky Kopf Career

Bucky, who was involved in a number of different positions, was a devoted member of the National Association of Home Builders and an advocate for the organization. In 2001, he was honored with entry into the North Coast Home Builders Hall of Fame, which was a recognition of the achievements he had made. Additionally, in 1996, he was inducted into the Avon Lake Sports Hall of Fame as a result of his incredible achievements in the sporting world.

He was a loving and caring person that everyone loved to be around. He was a force to be reckoned with and was a source of joy and inspiration to those around him. He was very dedicated to whatever he did and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
