Crestview Motorcycle Accident: 25-year-old motorcyclist fatally struck by truck on Antioch Road.
Florida Highway Patrol officers report that a truck struck and killed a man from Crestview on Saturday.
Around 12:27 p.m., according to the police, the man was travelling south on State Road 85 on a motorbike as he approached the intersection of Antioch Road. They claimed that a Dodge Ram pickup truck was travelling north on State Road at the time.
According to authorities, the motorcyclist had a constant green light when the pickup truck started to turn left onto Antioch Road into its path. The two vehicles collided.
According to the troopers, a Chevy Silverado that was stopped at the intersection of Antioch Road and the Dodge Ram was struck by debris.
The 25-year-old biker was killed in the crash while wearing a helmet and protective clothing, according to investigators. According to the troopers, the Dodge Ram’s driver claimed only minor injuries.
There is still an investigation going on.
