UMK 2024 Kota Surabaya dan 37 kabupaten/kota lainnya di wilayah Jawa Timur yang berlaku mulai 1 Januari 2024. ( DAHNUR)
KOMPAS.com - Gubernur Jawa Timur (Jawa Timur) Khofifah Indar Parawansa telah menetapkan besaran upah minimum kabupaten/kota (UMK) yang berlaku mulai 1 Januari 2024.
Penetapan UMR Jatim 2024 tertuang dalam Keputusan Gubernur Jawa Timur Nomor 188/656/KPTS/013/2023 tentang Upah Minimum Kabupaten/Kota (UMK) di Jawa Timur Tahun 2024.
Berdasarkan keputusan tersebut, UMK 2024 Jatim yang tertinggi adalah Kota Surabaya. UMK 2024 Kota Surabaya sebesar Rp 4,725,479,00. Jumlah itu naik Rp 200.000 dari UMK Kota Surabaya tahun 2023 sebesar Rp 4.525.479.
Sedangkan UMK 2024 Jatim yang terendah adalah di Kabupaten Bangkalan. UMK 2024 Bangkalan Rp 2.240.701,00. Jumlah itu naik sekitar Rp 88.000 dari UMK Kabupaten Bangkalan tahun 2023 sebesar Rp 2.152.450.
Dalam keputusan gubernur tersebut disebutkan bahwa UMK 2024 Jatim itu hanya berlaku bagi pekerja yang memiliki masa kerja kurang dari 1 (satu) tahun.
"Pengusaha yang telah memberikan upah lebih tinggi dari ketetapan Upah Minimum Kabupaten/Kota sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Diktum KESATU, dilarang mengurangi dan menurunkan upah; dan/atau membayar upah lebih rendah dari ketetapan Upah Minimum Kabupaten/Kota 2024," tegasnya.
