His parents, Luther D. Jones (Luke) and Lena Elizabeth Jones (Green), were also among those who passed away before him.
His children, Pete Jones (Cindy) of Navasota, Bob Jones of Houston, DeAnn Holden (Lynn) of Temple, Kimberly (Jason McDonald) of Lampasas, Anna Coker of Decatur, and Amy LaPoe (Don) of Evant, are among those who are left behind. He is also survived by his former life partner, Gilma Flatt, as well as his brother Troy Jones of Adamsville. His 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren are also among those who will carry on his legacy.
On Saturday, December 30th, 2023, visitation will take place at the Adamsville Baptist Church, which is located at 17084 US-281, Lampasas, Texas 76550. The visitation will take place from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM. At the same site, a funeral service is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 30th, 2023, between the hours of 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
