Edgar Ramirez will play the husband of actress Jennifer Garner in new Netflix film Yes Day but what is known of his love life off-screen?

Does Edgar Ramirez have a wife?

Not much is known of the Venezuelan actor’s love life as he is seen to prefer’s to keep it away from his career.

Instead, Edgar often posts of his work on-screen to social media with the star having previously posed alongside Nicole Kidman, who he starred with on The Undoing.

While not a lot is known of his love life off-screen, he will play the husband of Jennifer Garner in new Netflix film Yes Day.

Edgar and Jennifer’s characters will play parent to Jenna Ortega, Julian Lerner and Everly Carganilla.

In celebration of Yes Day coming out this week, Edgar reposted a sweet video of Julian Lerner, who plays his son in the Netflix film seeing the film’s trailer for the first time in Times Square on Instagram.

Captioning the post to his 3.6million followers, he wrote: “#repost from my beautiful and immensely talented son @julianlerner So proud to be your movie dad!”

Life before acting

The 43-year-old has endured a successful career on-screen spanning over three decades.

He has since become known for his roles in Gold (2016), Point Break (2015) and Deliver us from Evil (2014).

Last year saw Edgar feature in TV drama The Undoing alongside Nicole Kidman.

During an interview with Nicole for Interview Magazine, Edgar has since admitted he was a journalist before he pursued a career in acting.

Talking of how he got into acting, he explained: “I was thrown in it by life, in a way.

“I was always attracted to the world of performing arts, but I’d be lying if I said I was the kid who grew up dreaming of being an actor.”

Edgar went on to talk of how acting has allowed him to pursue both passions.

He added: “In a way, my career has given me the opportunity to become some of the subjects that I would have loved to interview.”
