If you believe Punxsutawney Phil, spring is on the way. But families in Bettendorf still celebrated winter on Saturday when the City of Bettendorf held its annual event that took place in several locations.
Kids could get their faces painted at Bettendorf Public Library, and lots of families checked out activities at The Family Museum, where kids learned about snow.
The city wanted to create an event for families to help them deal with being cooped up during the winter.
