While the explicit snaps were leaked today, it is unclear when they were taken.

Melina, 38, has not performed in WWE since 2011.

The X-rated pictures come after WWE superstar Paige, and ex-wrestlers Maria, Kaitlyn and Victoria appear to have had explicit images and videos posted on the internet.

WWE Divas star Summer Rae has also been forced to deny X-rated snaps of her are real as the sex-tape scandal continues to rock pro wrestling.

Norfolk-born grappler Paige claimed her pics were private and were shared without her consent.

Clips appeared of the 24-year-old, including one with two other male wrestlers.

Just days later MORE X-rated photos and videos emerged of the Divas star.

Paige is engaged to ex-WWE star Alberto Del Rio, having jumped into the ring and proposed in October of last year.

In August WWE suspended her 30 days for a violation of the company’s anti-drugs wellness policy.

Melina began her career as a model, winning several beauty pageants.

She was signed by WWE in 2003 and spent eight years at the company.

The California-born wrestler won three Women's Championships and two Divas titles.

Melina revealed in an exclusive WWE blog: "I was always told I was too short, too fat, too small, too ugly or not good enough. People would tell me every negative comment under the moon, and that I would never make it.

"I kept going. I knew in my heart that I could make it, and that I was meant for this. My love for wrestling and my determination got me through everything I had to endure."

Melina was released by WWE in 2011 and went on to work independently and for Lucha Underground.
