People gathered at Weber auto in Silvis Saturday, to pay tribute to our veterans.
There was live music, food, and raffles. The Memorial Day celebration raised money for Jason’s Box, an organization that helps veterans both here in the Quad Cities, and those who are deployed.
Owner of Weber Auto, Brian Weber said, “I have a lot of good friends who are veterans, you know, a lot of family, and we’ve always wanted to give back. And we’ve been here down at this location now four years. We finally got settled in to where we can start doing more things for the community. “
Organizers hope to make the fundraiser an annual event.
