Another new donut shop set a date for its grand opening in the Quad Cities today.
Well, set a season.
Local 4 News was the first to report in January that Hurts Donut Co. was coming to the Quad Cities. Today the company announced it will open this fall.
Although a location has not yet been determined — any guesses? — the company launched Facebook and Instagram accounts for the QC shop.
“Today we can scream from the rooftop that our QUAD CITY SHOP WILL BE OPEN THIS FALL!” a post on Hurts Donut Co.’s Iowa City/Coralville page announced.

Hurts Donut Co. coming to Quad Cities

Hurts Donut Co. announced on social media Friday that the Quad Cities will be among its new locations.
A Hurts Donut Co. representative confirmed to Local 4 News that it will be a new franchise store, but could not give a specific location or opening date yet.
In addition to the QC, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Colorado Springs, Memphis, Nashville, Omaha and Waco are part of the company’s expansion.
