An Illinois judge has removed former President Donald Trump from the state’s Primary ballot.
Judge Tracie Porter of Cook County ruled Trump was ineligible based on the 14th Amendment’s insurrection clause. This makes Illinois the third state to remove the former President from the ballot.
The decision is on hold until Friday to let Trump’s legal team appeal.
