All of you know “4 the Record” host Jim Niedelman enjoys finding a funny moment involving a politician somewhere.
He says he’s out of luck with the late-night comics and the writers’ strike, and he’s not above making fun of himself.
This is only his second week back and some of you might have noticed something different about his appearance. It came up after his conversation with Iowa State Senators Chris Cournoyer and Cindy Winckler, who both gave the host of “4 the Record” a thumbs up for his beard.

Arthur starts: “needs to be three more to the right!”
Marge disagrees, saying “the Supreme Court has left the building. Something’s rotten.”
Short answers came from Douglas, calling it “totally bias.”
Jeffrey says “disappointing,” and Dixie simply boos.
