Jed Davis Hermitage, PA Obituary: Hermitage man dies in Crawford County crash.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, a tragic incident occurred in Crawford County on Saturday afternoon, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist.
The crash involving a motorcycle and a car occurred at approximately 2:16 p.m. on Liberty St./State Route 322 near Crystal Lake Rd. in West Fallowfield Township.
According to investigators, a collision occurred when a Mitsubishi vehicle was making a turn from a parking lot onto Liberty St. in an attempt to head west. The Mitsubishi was struck by an eastbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
The motorcyclist named Jed Davis, aged 62 and hailing from Hermitage, met with a fatal accident. According to troopers, Davis was rushed to UPMC Horizon-Greenville via ambulance, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
According to state police, an 80-year-old man and a 77-year-old woman were involved in an incident while driving a Mitsubishi. The elderly individuals were subsequently taken to Meadville Medical Centre due to suspected minor injuries.
