Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Angelina Pivarnick and her fiancé Vinny Tortorella were allegedly involved in a domestic violence dispute, and law enforcement had to be called to their house. Angelina was one of the original cast members of Jersey Shore when the reality show debuted in 2009, though she didn’t stick around for very long. Then when the follow-up series, Family Vacation, launched in 2018, she was one of only two original stars to not sign up as a full-time cast member, but that quickly changed the following season.
According to Page Six, the Jersey Shore cast member called 911 to have police help out with a reported incident between her and her fiancé. A police report about the situation noted that Angelina actually didn’t end up filing any charges against Vinny. The reality star’s attorney released a statement on behalf of his client, saying, “I am confirm that Angelina did, in fact, call the police to her home. After speaking with the officers, Angelina decided not to file charges.” As a result, “the matter is now closed” and Angelina is requesting “privacy” at this time.

Vinny’s attorney claims the couple remains engaged but “denies” the alleged domestic violence incident. He added, “Mr. Tortorella denies any act of impropriety that would warrant police involvement and denies any act of domestic violence occurred.” Vinny is also requesting privacy right now. In the midst of this alleged dispute, both Angelina and Vinny are apparently filming for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 7, according to Page Six.
Angelina and Vinny got engaged in fall 2022, and the exciting relationship development was filmed for MTV, so fans got the chance to see the engagement in April 2023 during Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 6. Interestingly, Angelina spoke out just days ago about the wedding planning and admitted that she’s not rushing the process this time around since she’s already been married before. Her wedding to Chris Larangeira happened in 2019, and their split was announced in 2022.

It’s unclear what the actual dispute was that allegedly happened between Angelina and Vinny. Clearly, it was bad enough for the reality star to call the police, but she didn’t end up filing charges, so it’s possible the couple were able to cool down after the alleged situation occurred. Their respective attorneys made a point of saying their engagement hasn’t been called off and they’re still “in love” with each other. That could just be a positive comment meant to dispell any speculation that might result from this news story. If they’re wanting privacy, then it’s unlikely the dispute will be mentioned during Family Vacation season 7, unless they do end up going their separate ways.
