Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope announced the birth of their first child on Friday, January 20. The couple revealed the name of their daughter, Dylan Rose Lawrence, on Monday, January 16. Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope married on May 1, 2022, in California, and had their first child within a year. The couple created a stunning statement on Instagram to share more about their baby girl, stating:
“We brought her into the world with the most amazing midwife, everyone is happy and healthy, and we are so happy. It was a great adventure. Thank you for your unwavering support of this wonderful new life! Keep an eye out for spam baby xoxo”
Lawrence’s third child is Dylan Rose and he also has two daughters from a previous marriage.

As stated earlier, Lawrence married Cope in a private ceremony in May 2022 witnessed by the couple’s close friends and family members. Heather Christian Folger of HCD Weddings & Events organized the entire ceremony. Lawrence’s children Charleston, 16, and Liberty, 12, from a previous marriage to Chandie Yawn-Nelson, attended the wedding at the Temecula Creek Inn in Temecula, California. The couple was engaged for about a year before their wedding. Through an Instagram post in August 2021, the Blossom star revealed the same thing. Singer says:
“Guess the cats are out of the bag! We are so grateful for everyone’s incredible support and warm affection. We are ecstatic to see what the future holds for us and knowing that we will grow old and wrinkly together is the greatest gift.

Lawrence’s marriage to Samantha Cope was his third, he was previously married to Michelle Vella and Chandie Yawn-Nelson. He married Vella in 2002 but the two divorced in 2005. In July 2005, after the divorce, the singer married Yawn-Nelson. The couple married at Disney World, where they met as teenagers on vacation. Lawrence and Yawn-Nelson had two children, Charleston and Liberty, in their nearly 15 year marriage.
After filing for bankruptcy in July 2017, the couple separated in 2020. Joey Lawrence met his current wife, Samantha Cope, after their divorce. Cope said in an interview about their relationship before marriage:
“From the beginning, it was a safe environment for me to be myself. He loves everything about me and likes my eccentricities. I feel extremely lucky to have it. “I will be with you forever,” I said after two weeks.
Lawrence expressed his sentiments in the same interview, saying:
“When you meet the right person, if you are lucky enough, it will come to you. I have a friend who is like-minded and speaks the same love language as me, and we communicate in the same way. That is really important. And I am very grateful.”
After getting married, the couple announced that Cope was pregnant in September 2022.
