The identify of the young man who was accidently shot on Saturday in Youngstown has been made public by the Mahoning County Coroner’s Office. The victim was a 14-year-old kid.

The youngster was named as 14-year-old Logan Taylor by the Coroner’s Office. Taylor was shot inadvertently in his house on Lucius Avenue on Saturday, November 11, and was pronounced dead in the hospital the following Monday. Taylor’s residence is located on Lucius Avenue.

This is the second incident involving the unintentional shooting death of a kid in the city of Youngstown in a span of less than a month. A gunshot wound was also the cause of death for Devontae Housley Jr., who was only seven years old when he passed away in late October. It was later determined that the shooting was an accident.

An autopsy is going to be performed, and the Youngstown Police Department and the Coroner’s Office are continuing their investigation into the incident.
