Lydia Ashline Obituary: In loving memory of Sanford High School senior killed in Rochester car accident.
A single vehicle accident in Rochester on Wednesday night claimed the life of a senior at a high school in Maine.
According to authorities, the collision occurred on Salmon Falls Road about 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
Parents and classmates at Sanford High School were notified that senior Lydia Ashline had died following a car accident.
Administrators expressed their shock and sadness at Ashline’s passing and informed staff and students that counseling is now accessible.
According to the police, she passed away as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
There were two additional passengers in the car, but they weren’t hurt very badly.
The cause of the crash is still being looked into by the police.
