Marc Rockwell Accident; Member Of The US Navy Bureau Of Medicine And Surgery, Marc Rockwell Passes Away

Marc Rockwell-Pate, a devoted member of the US Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, was a true American hero, and his passing has left the close-knit community of San Diego in sadness.

Those who knew Marc were devastated by the unfortunate tragedy that took his life over the weekend while he was mountain climbing.

An emotional statement expressing his admiration for the daring activity that finally took his life served as evidence of his departure.

“It was confirmed this afternoon that my stepson Marc Rockwell-Pate died in a mountain climbing accident over the weekend,” the statement stated.

The fact that Marc was doing what he loved at the time, despite our hearts being torn, says volumes about his enthusiasm for life and exploration.

Marc started his schooling with an emphasis on Advanced Photojournalism at the Defense Information School.

He afterwards graduated from the University of Maryland Global Campus with a bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies.

Marc went back to the Defense Information School to complete the Public Affairs Qualification Course in order to improve his abilities even more.

At the Savannah College of Art and Design, he pursued his education further and graduated with a master’s degree in photography.

Marc’s remarkable 17 years and one month in the service demonstrated his unshakeable dedication.

Marc’s contributions were distinguished by professionalism and competence, ranging from his time as a student photojournalist at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland, to his work as a photojournalist in Yokosuka, Kanagawa, and San Diego, California.
