Martin Cowden Obituary – Motorcycle Accident Washington, PA: Midway man killed in crash on Route 22 in Robinson Township.
In a tragic incident, a resident of Midway met with a fatal accident on Sunday afternoon. The crash involving a motorbike happened while travelling on Route 22 in Robinson Township.
In a recent development, the driver involved in the incident has been identified by the Washington County coroner as Martin Cowden, aged 52.
Based on the coroner’s report, it has been determined that Cowden was travelling in an easterly direction at approximately 3:45 p.m. At this time, he unfortunately lost control of his vehicle in the vicinity of mile marker 11, resulting in a collision with a guide rail.
Cowden was declared deceased at the location.
The cause and manner of death remain undetermined, according to official reports.
The accident is currently under investigation by state police. At the scene, the individuals received assistance from Fort Cherry EMS, the Midway Fire Department, and the state Department of Transportation.
