Mayzio Arnold: The person detained for killed his girlfriend cause she overdosed
According to a recent inquiry, Deandrea Funchess was attacked by Mayzio Arnold and left “internally dismembered.”
Deandrea Funchess, a mother of two, was discovered unconscious on February 15 in the 300 block of West Galbraith Road, Hartwell, Cincinnati. Hamilton County, Ohio. She was living with her lover, 25-year-old Mayzio Arnold. Arnold informed her parents that she had overdosed and passed away. In a recent development, the cops detained the Ohio native for allegedly “internally decapitating” his partner by severely assaulting her.
On Wednesday, July 13, Arnold was taken into custody and charged with murder. The woman allegedly succumbed to his mistreatment at the Hartwell home, where she allegedly passed away. Her spinal cord became disconnected from the skull’s base as a result of the trauma. Bernadette Davis, Deandrea’s mother, had believed her daughter had overdosed herself to death for six months prior to last Wednesday. She claimed to have been communicating to Arnold for all these months in an interview with Fox 19 and to have no reservations about it.
“It’s really a shocker right now to find out that he’s accountable for this,” she remarked of Arnold. The day Arnold told her about Deandra’s OD also “just never sat” with her, and she feels awful for talking to him all these months merely to stay in touch with her two grandkids. She continued by saying that the kids adored him as a parent and that, aside from a few minor disagreements, Arnold and her daughter didn’t seem to have anything seriously amiss between them. She said, “I’d never in a million years have guessed that this would have been the conclusion of that circumstance,” in reference to their ostensibly trivial disagreements.
Davis said that Funchess, who was working at a nursing home at the time of her death, had made a significant effort to alter her behavior for her children. Her mother is still grieving from the shock of her daughter’s passing since she was vibrant and “the light of the party.”
Arnold’s trial is still pending. His bond is $750,000, according to records from the Hamilton County Justice Center that have been made available online. He has a bond type of 10 and an EMU indication, which calls for the placement of an electronic monitoring device on his leg. On July 25, the trial is scheduled to start.
The Homicide Unit is still looking into the matter, so anyone with information on the homicide is asked to call 513-352-3542.
