Meaning of ‘Lala Girl’ on TikTok
According to TikTok users, Lala Girls are outgoing, generous, charming, compassionate, kind, always smiling, and peaceful.
One video adds that they love reading, flowers, and holding hands and can’t stop talking. So, it’s essentially a way of describing a sweet, popular, and confident girly girl.
“A Lala Girl means dressing up super girly, getting up extra early to get ready, going on therapy walks, reading the bible every day, and living life unbothered,” another user says.
Urban Dictionary describes a Lala Girl as someone who doesn’t take life too seriously and loves to party, dance, sing. She is very social and loves to live life in the moment.
What is an ‘Okok Girl’?
In comparison to extroverted and dreamy Lala Girls, Okok Girls are introverted, quiet overthinkers who are logical, mature, and socially awkward.
One TikTok user says being an Okok Girl means “having everything to say but saying nothing because you’re too passive to risk upsetting the other person”.
“Okok girls have a small amount of people they actually trust and are assertive, opinionated, success orientated, ambitious, optimistic, logical and grounded,” another adds.

The trend comes from Tyler, The Creator song See You Again, in which the American rapper sings “okokok” and “lalala” at the same time.
Fans can only sing one of them, and people on TikTok say that all women are either an ‘okokok’ or a ‘lalala’ girl. Both have very specific personality traits.
People are taking a viral ‘okokok’ or ‘lalala’ personality quiz that determines which one you are using a series of questions.
However, the American rapper has nothing to do with the personalities. He made the song but didn’t intend for Okok Girls and Lala Girls to be a thing.
