In 2013, Nicholas launched List A for Trinidad & Tobago against Windward Islands at Kingstown. He was selected to play for Team West Indies in 2016. Nicholas made his T20 International debut against Pakistan in Dubai.
In 2017, Mumbai Indians IPL team bought him for a base price of Rs. 30 lakhs for 2017 Indian Premier League auction.
