Na-Kyum kept denying that he didn’t make any of those erotic paintings and that he had no idea of what Seungho was talking about, but it didn’t seem like Seungho would just leave him at once. He took out his sword and killed his man, after which Na-Kyum fainted.

Seungho decided to take him to his place until he figured out who was telling the truth. After reaching his palace, Seungho asked Na-Kyum again if those paintings were his creation, but Na-Kyum denied his claims.

Seungho, while pointing his sword at his neck he, reminded him of how a man was killed because he lied. Na-Kyum bursts into tears and tells him the truth that it’s the only thing he knows and can do to make a living, so Seungho makes an offer and asks him if he would like to stay under his roof and create erotic paintings for him. Na-Kyum accepted his offer, and a new chapter of his life began.

In chapter 113 of Painter Of The Night, we saw Seungho and Na-Kyum shopping for some clothes for Na-Kyum. As he was changing, he heard about the parade and rushed out to watch it. Seeing his excitement Seungho asked him if he was so happy to see Jung In-Hun finally make a name for himself.

Na-Kyum, with teary eyes, replies that he had always imagined himself walking down the parade while he stands at the farthest corner alone. And the biggest difference now was that he had a company referring to Seungho, with his hand in his hand; it made him so happy that it brought tears to his eyes.

While they were having a sweet moment, In-Hun barged and hugged Na-Kyum. In-Hun said that he was overjoyed to see Na-Kyum, and he had something to tell him. In-Hun tells Na-Kyum how grateful he is and soon he will be coming back for him.

Seungho’s expressions show how jealous he is that Na-Kyum accepted In-Hun’s hat. Na-Kyum takes Seungho to a corner and puts the hat on his head, and tells him that he knew that the hat would look better on him than In-Hun that’s why he took the hat from him in the first place. After which, they shared a sweet kiss.
