Who is Peter Strube?
Peter D. Strube is a certified registered nurse (CRNA) who graduated with a master’s degree in anesthesia from St. Mary’s University in 2006. He graduated from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, with a bachelor’s degree. His Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia (DNAP) degree was completed in June 2017, and he will receive his MBA in December 2020.
Lieutenant Colonel Strube has left the United States Army Nurse Corps. In the course of continuing military operations, Dr. Strube has been deployed and mobilized four times; he has served in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
Peter is currently an assistant professor and assistant program director at Newman University. Peter is the owner and operator of Trollway Anesthesia, which covers several critical access hospitals. His work appears in scholarly journals and training programs. He gives lectures at both home and international conferences on a professional level.
For at-risk nurse anesthesia residents, Peter also offers anesthesia board tutoring. Notable achievements include his election to the Wisconsin State Association Council and his term as Director of the AANA Region 3.
Peter has given back to his community as a court-appointed mentor for veterans in difficulty, a commissioner on the Dane County Ethics Board, and a member of the Mount Horeb Board of Education.
