The Quad Cities’ nuclear power station emergency response plans are being evaluated.
Personnel from both Iowa and Illinois participated in the exercise, to make sure the plans in place protect citizens in the event of a radiological event from the nuclear power station. The plans are being tested by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The preliminary findings will be released March 1.
