MOLINE — The Quad City Mallards may have lost their game on Saturday, but it’s a night one Quad Cities couple will always remember.
Kyle Fogel took to the ice with his girlfriend Windy Rich during intermission to play a game.
Fogel then got down on one knee and popped the question in front of thousands of fans.
Fogel says he had been planning this proposal for about two months and is glad he was finally able to pull it off.
Rich said yes!
“The emotion was just, I was in shock. In front of thousands of people I was just in shock. Even if he would’ve done it just us it would’ve been the same emotion,” said Windy Rich.
They plan on getting married in October of this year.
