What If Konan had Defeated Obito?
Had Konan emerged victorious in that battle, the trajectory of the series might have been vastly different.
With Obito defeated, Nagato’s Rinnegan would have remained out of enemy hands, potentially averting the Fourth Great Ninja War altogether. Obito’s pivotal role in the conflict, as the antagonist’s frontman, would have been nullified.
Furthermore, Obito’s death would have prevented the key steps leading to the war. For instance, Kabuto’s plans to revive Madara and, ultimately, Kaguya through Obito’s actions would have been disrupted.
Madara’s resurrection, contingent upon Obito’s Rinne-Rebirth, would not have transpired, thereby altering the series’ course.
In this alternate scenario, the focus of the story might have shifted dramatically. Sasuke Uchiha, leading Taka (formerly Hebi), could have emerged as a primary antagonist.
Without Obito, Kabuto’s ambitions to resurrect past shinobi, including Itachi, could have been delayed, influencing Sasuke’s motivations and potentially leading him to attack the Hidden Leaf Village.
