The band has also been on stage for quite some time and made major sales. The band did take a break in between, which is when people started worrying if the band would end its journey, but surprisingly, they made a comeback in 2017 with a bang. This was the year when the band also announced its official fandom name.

2018 was when the band made its Japan debut which went quite well to their expectations. The band has also announced its own ReVe festival, which is considered the most popular album from the band.

By April 21, 2020, the band also announced the two main members of Red Velvet’s sub-unit to be Irene and Seulgi. The year 2021 can be considered as the year of solos when the band members considered going solo besides their successful band career as well and also featured in Queendom Puzzle.

Members of this K-pop band darlings consist of five members who are Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri.

Seulgi

Seulgi is a South Korean trainee singing in the band. She has been the longest trainee in the band for seven years. She is the lead vocalist and main dancer in the band and also represents the color yellow in the band.

Besides Red Velvet, she is also a member of Girls Next Door. She is a calm personality at Red Velvet and is indeed a talent for the entire group.
