Renee Wickliffe and Portia Woodman Became Engaged In 2021
Renee Wickliffe and her partner, Portia Woodman, have not yet tied the knot, but they are in the process of planning their wedding.
They are both members of the New Zealand national rugby team and got engaged in January of 2021.
Wickliffe, who was born with a natural ability for rugby, shone brightest for the New Zealand national women’s side at the 2014 Women’s Rugby World Cup. This team is also known as the Black Ferns.
She competed alongside her partner Woodman and helped the nation advance to the knockout round of the competition; but, she was unable to advance the team to the semi-final playoffs on her own.
In 2013, Woodman made her debut for the “Black Ferns” during their match against England. This was her first time competing for New Zealand. She was an integral part of the team that won the Rugby World Cup Sevens championship held in Russia in 2013.
Renee, meantime, had only turned 22 when she received her very first call from an international location in the year 2009. The winger has competed for the Ferns in 43 competitive matches up to this point and has scored 105 points for the team.
