The story of the manhwa is about Lee Geon who rose to the position of a Saint for his virtuous deeds. The pre-existing 12 Saints had been blessed by each of the Gods of Zodiac to fight against the Calamity that is wrecking havoc on the Earth. Although Lee Geon became acknowledged as the 13th Saint, he was betrayed and locked up in a tower by the other Saints. After 20 years, Lee Geon manages to break out of the prison and he is furious, determined to take his revenge on the people who betrayed him.
