During her tenure at the station, she worked as a reporter for two local shows and as a production assistant for the nightly news. Later, in 1982, she returned to her homeland of New York City to work as a reporter for WABC-TV. She was the host of Good Morning New York, which later became Live with Regis and Kathie Lee. After a year, she became a reporter for WABC-TV’s Eyewitness News.
In 1986, she left WABC to join Fox’s WNYW. She started out as a weekend anchor and reporter there. Later that year, in 1994, she began hosting the weekday version of Fox 5 News.
