KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Just based on her lyrics, you can tell Taylor Swift excelled in English class growing up.

Because her lyrics are so nuanced, we decided to see how they stack up to Chiefs players.

We put the FOX4 Morning Show team to the test. Challenge yourself and see how they did in the video player above.

First, we’ll start simple with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes:

“End Game” (Album: reputation):

  • “Big reputation, big reputation. Ooh, you and me, we got big reputations, ah. And you heard about me, ooh, I got some big enemies.”

“this is me trying” (Album: folklore):

  • “I was so ahead of the curve, the curve became a sphere.”

Our quarterback is known for being a superstar, and being that talented means you’re going to have some big rivals.

Next up, we’ve got Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco:

“Run” (Album: Red, Taylor’s Version):

  • “Go where no one else is, run, ooh, we’ll run, ooh, we’ll run, ooh, we’ll run.”

“Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince” (Album: Lover):

  • “Running through rose thorns, I saw the scoreboard and ran for my life.”

We’ve heard how “Pop” runs like he’s trying to bite someone. He runs for the end zone like he’s running for his life.

This next one is about Chiefs receiver Kadarius Toney:

“this is me trying” (Album: folklore):

  • “I just wanted you to know, that this is me trying. At least I’m trying.”

Toney has struggled this season with dropped passes, and has been a healthy scratch for the last six games.

He even went on Instagram Live before the AFC Championship to inform fans — in an expletive-laced tirade — that he was not hurt despite being listed on the injury report throughout the season.

Then on Monday, he argued the live stream was altered from past footage to make it look like he was attacking the Chiefs.

And of course, we wouldn’t make this list without a nod to number 87, tight end Travis Kelce:

“…Ready For It?” (Album: reputation):

  • “Knew he was a killa first time that I saw him.”

“peace” (Album: folklore):

  • “All these people think love’s for show, but I would die for you in secret.”

“Mary’s Song” (Album: Debut)

  • “You’ll be 87, I’ll be 89.”

There’s been a lot of noise around these two all season, wondering if Swift and “KillaTrav’s” love is the real deal.

We think the haters were silenced after she ran down on the field after their AFC championship win.

Finally, we had to leave a spot for the playmaker, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid:

“Mastermind” (Album: Midnights);

  • “I laid the groundwork, and then just like clockwork, the dominoes cascaded in a line. What if I told you I’m a mastermind?”

Here are a few extra lyrics that we think could hold a spot on the list for Chiefs Kingdom:

“willow” (Album: Evermore):

  • “Like you were a trophy or a champion ring.”

“Cornelia Street” (Album: Lover):

  • “Like the street lights pointed in an arrowhead leading us home.”

“Long Live” (Album: Speak Now, Taylor’s Version)

  • “Tell them how the crowds went wild. Tell them how I hope they shine.”
  • “Hold on to spinning around. Confetti falls to the ground.”
