Fans can’t wait to watch what happens to their favorite character in Season 5 of the mega-popular drama “The Chi” on Showtime. Everything was neatly wrapped up in the fourth season’s last episode. Trig (Luke James) and Imani (Jasmine Davis) made peace with Shaad, which was the most significant development of the finale for its protagonists.
The conclusion provided us a hint that Season 5 would take a new turn and offer fresh optimism. However, it appears that Trig’s future is dim. We are aware of his desire to improve the community and how hard he works to help others and improve their lives. However, the character’s first episode of the Showtime series didn’t begin on a joyful note.
The fifth season of “The Chi” on Showtime will be “crazy,”
According to Curtiss Cook, Trig went ahead and met Emmett at his restaurant, where he discovered that Tiff had departed because she felt she no longer wanted to be his wife. Trig tries to console him as a good buddy and asks if Emmett’s BBQ restaurant would still be open for his proposal to Imani. Someone then throws a brick through Trig’s wagon window as soon as he says so. Trig was stunned and immediately set about identifying the perpetrator of such a bold act. When Trig questioned Bakari after seeing him laughing over what had just occurred, he claimed that he had done nothing.
Trig was so angry with him that he punched him repeatedly and hit him hard without hesitation. He begins strangling him until he regains control, and one of Bakari’s pals recorded the entire incident. A short while later, Shaad showed him the video of him assaulting Bakari and how several people in the community were upset with him. They wanted everyone to cancel the community leader, and Trig is the latest casualty of this society. In order to provide Bakari a better life, Shaad and Trig decide to talk to him and incorporate him into their group.
Emmett and Tiff are no longer together in other places. Emmett dreamed about having sex with Keisha, and Tiff found out that he was dreaming of sleeping with someone else. Emmett wakes up from his dream to discover Tiff waiting with her things. Emmett tries to stop her as she prepares to go, but she ignores him and walks straight to her mother’s house. She concludes that she wasn’t included in the dream because of his b*ner.
So it appears that both of the pals are struggling in their personal life. As the season goes on, hopefully, things improve.
Every Sunday at 9 PM EST, SHOWTIME will premiere a brand-new episode of “The Chi” Season 5.
