And a photo of a woman on a bed next to a sex swing at the hotel appeared on social media adverts for Trivago.

Facebook user Michael joked of the Midlands venue in a comment: “Disgusted with Trivago about this advertising. . . . as if anyone would want to stop in West Bromwich!”

Another added: “Does it come with the mistress or is that extra?” One person wrote: “That swing was awesome.”
