When Chin gave the news on Saturday morning, she started to stutter and struggle as she read from her script.
When her coworkers realized something was wrong, they called 911. Since then, she has “spent the last few days in the hospital getting all kinds of tests.”

Career
In June 1990, she worked as an intern at CBS Morning News with Andy Cohen. She answered phones and copied faxes for distribution on the show, which she would host a decade later.
