In an interview, Big Scarr reminisced about how he spent $20 to record the song and $200 to make the music video so he could make the upload worth it. Then in 2020, he had the opportunity to sign with Atlantic Records. The label he signed with was under the supervision of 1017 Gucci Mane records.
