Why did Geto turn evil?

Geto turns evil after he develops a strong hatred toward all non-sorcerers. Despite being a student at Jujutsu High, his motive is turned around after a series of tragic incidents.

In the latest episode 3, Gojo and Geto are tasked to escort Master Tengen’s Star Plasma Vessel Riko Amanai. A regular schoolgirl on the surface, the 14-year-old is unfortunately targeted by the Time Vessel Association. The Star Religious Group believes that Tengen doesn’t need to merge with a Star Plasma Vessel in order to survive.

To prevent the merging of Master Tengen and Riko Amanai, the association hires a powerful assassin named Toji Fushiguro, also known as the Sorcerer Killer, and also, Megumi Fushiguro’s father.

In the new episode, things take a devastating turn when Riko Amanai is brutally assassinated in front of Geto’s eyes right before she was about to take his hand.

Riko and Yu Haibara’s death, as well as his conversation with Yuki Tsukomo about non-sorcerers being the root cause behind the creation of negative energy and therefore, curses, the factors all lead to a change of heart for Geto.

The last straw is the village mission where he kills off 112 villagers to free two sorcerer girls. Following that, he gets expelled from the school.

How did Gojo survive Toji?

The intense fight between Toji and Gojo has fans fearing for the latter. Gojo is sent close to his death when he’s stabbed by the Sorcerer Killer, Toji with the Inverted Spear of Heaven.

But did Gojo die? You’d be glad to know that the answer is no. The current season is taking viewers back to Gojo’s past, clearly, he manages to make it out alive.

Gojo survives by concentrating all his energy to kick off the Reverse Cursed Technique, which leads to the recovery of his injuries. Don’t worry, the most powerful sorcerer will make his big return!
